Can you provide materials?

Whatever your style or requirements I am happy to source them for you. The quotes on the pricing page are for work only and materials are not included unless otherwise stated. If you opt to provide materials, please ensure 10% extra allowance when ordering.

If I provide the materials, do you need to test them first?

If possible. I always like to test materials before I use them to ensure there is no ink bleeding or nib snagging! I realise that there are times when it is not always possible to do this and for smaller orders then it may not be necessary. For large orders I always recommend this in case the material is not suitable. We can then find an alternative.

Do you write on other surfaces?

Absolutely! I love the diversity of calligraphy and will turn my hand to anything.

How do you work out your pricing?

Pricing can be tricky as a calligrapher. It is so diverse which is why I always recommend making contact. When taking into consideration how much you pay for a calligrapher, time is always a consideration. One piece of work can take hours, if not longer to complete.

Is everything done by hand?

Unless you request otherwise then yes. I can digitise work and have done so before. I have designed and sent my written words that have been easily digitised and put on to products or paper.

How long does it take to complete you work?

Firstly, it depends how many other orders / requests I have already agreed to complete and then it depends on what you have requested. The more notice the better. Please note that under three weeks notice will incur an extra charge. Prices listed are set as standard. If you require bespoke pricing or would like to tweak your requirements then please contact me.
